James Parker Foley (b. 1993) earned his BA in Environmental Humanities at Sterling College in Vermont in 2015, before moving to Maine to teach art and ecology along the coast. From 2018 to 2020 he earned his MFA at Maine College of Art, and has since exhibited with Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, New System Exhibitions, Katzman Contemporary Projects, Northern Daughters, and Spring/Break Art Fair, and Sarah Bouchard Gallery. He has completed residencies on Monhegan Island, Maine (2021) and at Jx Farms in Mississippi (2022) and Monson Arts in Maine (2023). He lives and works in Portland, Maine.
